Zombies are walking walking corpses often reanimated by necromancers, witchdoctors or simply through diseases and parasites. They are generally only capable of acting on simple instructions. Most use weaponry like swords, clubs or their bare hands. They are often have an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

Zombies originate from Haitian folklore. The first use of the word, dates back to 1819.
