The gryph is a bird, the size of an eagle, with four or more legs. They reproduce by grappling host creatures and injecting tiny eggs into their bloodstream, through a tube protrding from the gryph's abdomen. The eggs will hatch within a few days, killing the host in a burst of tiny gryph hatchlings.
