The Hippogryph is a creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a horse; the head and wings of an eagle; and an eagle's talons as its front feet. Some variations may be found, where the horse to eagle ratio is different. Some variations may be encountered where the horse has been substituded with a stag and the eagle head has antlers.
